Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all details are captured.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
  • Manage multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.
  • Contribute to overall restaurant operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • General knowledge of food services and menu offerings.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing.
  • Understanding of sanitation protocols.
  • Possession of a valid Food Handler's Card.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or assisting kitchen staff.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Proven ability to maintain cleanliness and uphold high sanitation standards.
  • Consistently positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in sales or upselling menu items.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and management principles.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • General mathematics skills for accurate order and payment processing.
  • Experience in greeting customers and managing guest flow.
