Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring all details are captured.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Manage multiple tables and guest requests simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.
- Contribute to overall restaurant operations as needed.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- General knowledge of food services and menu offerings.
- Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing.
- Understanding of sanitation protocols.
- Possession of a valid Food Handler's Card.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or assisting kitchen staff.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Proven ability to maintain cleanliness and uphold high sanitation standards.
- Consistently positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in sales or upselling menu items.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and management principles.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
- General mathematics skills for accurate order and payment processing.
- Experience in greeting customers and managing guest flow.
