WAITER/WAITRESS (FULL AND PART TIME)
About the role
Location: Talamore Senior Living, 275 North City Station Drive, Sun Prairie, WI 53590. Unidine is hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time waiter/waitress positions. The role involves taking food and beverage orders, delivering items to dining‑room guests, and providing a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room.
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service.
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards.
- Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
- Advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences.
- Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed.
- Communicate directly with back‑of‑the‑house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and ability to get along well with others.
- Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash‑handling procedures.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
- Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
- Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
- Ensure the dining room is properly set up prior to and after service; keep area clean and neat while meeting sanitation standards.
- Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
- Work with staff of other departments during special events and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Prior serving experience is preferred.

Pay
Pay range: $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.
Schedule
Full‑time and part‑time schedules available; Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with rotating weekends or weekend mornings, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details provided upon interview.
