Wait Staff

Essential Functions

• Takes meal orders and serves assisted living residents during evening service.
• Introduce yourself to residents and offer drinks and coffee.
• Tell residents about the daily special and confirm their food order.
• Give the order to the cook while they are filling the order.
• Dish out desserts and set them aside.
• Refill drinks and clear away dishes.
• Serve food orders and provide drink refills.
• Clear dishes and reset tables.

Prep to be Completed

• Citrus fruit
• Cottage cheese
• Applesauce
• Condiments
• Salad dressings

Additional Information

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow sanitation rules and regulations.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Attend all inservice training sessions.
• Willing to learn and upgrade the food service department.
• Work weekends to fill in shifts when needed.
• Take initiative to do tasks like cleaning and helping other staff members.
