About the role
The Hawaii State Department of Education seeks qualified individuals to fill various teaching positions. Positions include but are not limited to teachers, librarians, and counselors.
Responsibilities
- Hawaii State Department of Education commitment to hiring highly qualified teachers.
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's Degree.
- For non-Career and Technology Education (CTE) positions, a valid Hawaii teaching license is required upon hire.
- Enrollment in a Program is mandatory for those without a completed Teacher's Education Program.
- Active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements is necessary.
- First paycheck within the first 3 pay periods of start date.
- Payday is on the 5th and 20th (or previous business day) of every month.
- Compensation based on the applicable Bargaining Unit 05 10-month salary schedule.
- 18 days of paid sick leave during the school year.
