Waco 01 (Valley Mills) eStores - Curbie - Part time

About the role

As an eStore Curbie, you will retrieve eCommerce online orders from their put-away locations and transport them to the customer.

Responsibilities

• Uses a digital tool to retrieve and review customer orders
• Communicates order changes or adjustments to customer
• Makes necessary adjustments to orders based on customer requests
• Audits orders for bagging, quality, completion, and note following
• Packages, transports, and loads groceries or merchandise from holding areas to customer’s vehicle
• Minimizes shrink through careful handling of product
• Achieves productivity standards
• Gathers baskets and picks up trash inside and outside eStore, as needed
• Maintains and stocks bag areas
• Returns product to shelf
• Transfers products from slot to slot to help free up carts
• Organizes carts and maintains cleanliness within the eStore
• Maintains standards for safety and sanitation

Requirements

• 16 years of age or older
• Customer service skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle cross-functional tasks
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Completion of all required training upon hire (e.g., Alcohol Seller’s Training)

• Perform in a fast-paced work environment requiring detailed work and precision
• Work with customers and stay attentive to their needs
• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Work in varying conditions, including exposure to hot, wet, and/or cold environments
• Constantly walk, reach at waist, and grasp
• Occasionally sit, stand, reach overhead, reach at shoulders, reach at knees, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, push or pull with arms, twist, pinch, and perform fine motor movements
• Demonstrate the ability to lift 55 lbs and manage in excess of 55 lbs (with assistance or by breaking down items as needed)
• Use a manual pallet jack multiple times per day

Measurements for frequency are generally defined as: Constantly (5.5+ hours per 8-hour day), Frequently (2.5–5.5 hours per 8-hour day), Occasionally (0–2.5 hours per 8-hour day).
