WA Facility Needs a Locum Tenens Cardiac Anesthesia
About the Role
CompHealth is seeking a locum tenens physician to provide pediatric cardiac care, including cath lab support, with a focus on pediatric general, spinal, and open-heart anesthesia. The role involves scheduled clinical hours plus call, with a 1:2 call ratio and an average of 3-4 patients seen on call. Typically, there is 1 surgery patient per day, plus support for the Cath/EP lab.
Responsibilities
- Provide full spectrum of pediatric cardiac care, including cath lab experience only
- Manage surgical cases, including cardiac, ortho, neuro, thoracic, and pediatric surgical types
- Place central lines and arterial lines as required
- Respond to beeper call within 30 minutes

- Experience in pediatric general, spinal, and open-heart anesthesia
- Proficiency in central line and arterial line placement
- Ability to manage a variety of surgical cases, including cardiac, ortho, neuro, thoracic, and pediatric surgeries
