About the role
This is a full-time, on‑campus, in‑person, 9‑month tenure‑track position as the W.F. “Tex” & Polly Rankin Endowed Professor in Nursing at the Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Texas Christian University.
Minimum requirements
- Earned PhD in nursing or a related field.
- Demonstrated effective teaching in higher education for at least three years.
- Established record of funded research and scholarly work.
- Eligibility for appointment as an Associate or Full Professor.
- Current, valid, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
Preferred qualifications
- Educational preparation and clinical expertise in adult medical‑surgical or critical care nursing.
Support and resources
- Designated resources to support the research program and travel.
