Vulnerability Researcher

About the role

As a Vulnerability Researcher at Bigbear.ai, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting on security vulnerabilities in our products and systems. You will work closely with our engineering teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on Bigbear.ai’s software and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into product development cycles.
• Write clear and concise reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security research and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability research and penetration testing.
• Experience with ethical hacking tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common attack vectors and techniques.
• Experience with reverse engineering and malware analysis.
• Understanding of network protocols and operating systems.

Skills
