Vulnerability Management Engineer
About the role
The Vulnerability Management team seeks a hands-on cybersecurity professional to identify, assess, prioritize, and drive remediation of vulnerabilities across an enterprise environment. This role leverages enterprise vulnerability management technologies like ACAS to support the security of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot ACAS vulnerability scans
- Conduct authenticated and unauthenticated vulnerability scans
- Analyze and interpret ACAS scan results
- Troubleshoot scan failures, credential issues, connectivity problems, and incomplete results
- Validate vulnerability remediation
- Communicate vulnerability findings and coordinate remediation activities
- Track vulnerabilities throughout the remediation lifecycle
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management reports
- Support compliance and security assessment activities
- Identify opportunities to improve vulnerability management processes
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or relevant cybersecurity experience)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant vulnerability management experience
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+)
- Demonstrated experience with ACAS for vulnerability management
- Knowledge of enterprise security technology
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Linux systems, including troubleshooting authenticated scans and supporting remediation activities
- Experience with vulnerability scoring and prioritization methodologies
- Ability to correlate vulnerability findings with asset inventory, system ownership, configuration information, and security controls

Pay
Pay Range: Final salary will be determined by a variety of factors including geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
Schedule
Full-time position with up to 10% travel required within the continental US.
