About the role

The Vulnerability Management team seeks a hands-on cybersecurity professional to identify, assess, prioritize, and drive remediation of vulnerabilities across an enterprise environment. This role leverages enterprise vulnerability management technologies like ACAS to support the security of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot ACAS vulnerability scans
  • Conduct authenticated and unauthenticated vulnerability scans
  • Analyze and interpret ACAS scan results
  • Troubleshoot scan failures, credential issues, connectivity problems, and incomplete results
  • Validate vulnerability remediation
  • Communicate vulnerability findings and coordinate remediation activities
  • Track vulnerabilities throughout the remediation lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management reports
  • Support compliance and security assessment activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve vulnerability management processes

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or relevant cybersecurity experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant vulnerability management experience
  • DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+)
  • Demonstrated experience with ACAS for vulnerability management
  • Knowledge of enterprise security technology

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Linux systems, including troubleshooting authenticated scans and supporting remediation activities
  • Experience with vulnerability scoring and prioritization methodologies
  • Ability to correlate vulnerability findings with asset inventory, system ownership, configuration information, and security controls

Benefits

Pay

Pay Range: Final salary will be determined by a variety of factors including geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Schedule

Full-time position with up to 10% travel required within the continental US.
