Vulnerability Management Analyst I
About the Role
The Vulnerability Management Analyst role focuses on reducing overdue vulnerability remediation items, improving assignment and tracking processes, and collaborating with multiple technology teams. The position is located in Omaha, NE, or Newport Beach, requiring onsite presence 4 days per week, with a rate of $43-$47 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Triaging backlog tickets
- Validating findings
- Coordinating remediation efforts
- Improving workflows
- Escalating high-risk issues
Initial Priorities
- Reviewing and categorizing the backlog
- Confirming ownership of tickets
- Correcting assignments
- Establishing remediation plans
- Recommending process improvements
Success Metrics
- Reduction of overdue tickets
- Improved ticket accuracy
- Increased remediation documentation
- Timely escalation of issues
- Creation of sustainable processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and ServiceNow
- Strong organizational and communication skills
