About the role

The Vulnerability & Cloud Security Program Manager will lead the development and implementation of security programs focused on vulnerability management and cloud security. This role requires a deep understanding of security best practices, experience in managing security programs, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive vulnerability management strategies and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall security objectives
  • Lead the assessment and remediation of vulnerabilities in cloud environments
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
  • Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and service providers
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cloud security context
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing security programs
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred
  • Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of security principles and practices
  • Experience with cloud security tools and technologies
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
