About the volunteer opportunity

The Zoogdiervereniging is looking for new volunteers in the province of Friesland to strengthen the existing team that carries out transect counts as part of the Netwerk Ecologische Monitoring. They are looking for two to three enthusiastic volunteers who are interested in bats and who, from September 2024, will analyse the recorded bat sounds.

What you will do

• Analyse recorded bat sounds as part of the transect counting project
• Support the existing monitoring team in Friesland
