Vrijwilligers gezocht Kabouterpaden

About the opportunity

Every year, the Kabouterpaden (Gnome Trails) are organized in our heemtuin (nature garden). All primary schools in the municipality of Stadskanaal can sign up to bring groups 1 and 2 for a morning outdoors in nature. Through approximately 20 short games and assignments, the children come into contact with what nature has to offer at that time. In recent years, at least 500 children have spent a fun and educational morning in nature.

The schools themselves provide supervision for the children. Both in the spring (Lentepaden) and in the autumn (Herfstpaden), we are looking for people who would enjoy helping us for a few mornings with the Kabouterpaden. Arrangements are flexible, so if you can help for just 1 or 2 mornings, we (and the children!) would be very happy with that as well.

• Setting up games
• Explaining assignments
• Setting up drinks for the children
