What do I do as a Home Start volunteer?

• Speak with parents/generations they wish to discuss
• Provide parenting tips
• Play with children together
• Help connect with others
• Learn Dutch
• Explore living environment
• Help parents vent

What do I need?

• Willingness to interact with parents and children
• Availability of 1-2 hours per week (every two weeks) for one year
• Ability to listen
• A Declaration of Conduct (VOG)

What do you offer?

• A course before being paired with a family
• Regular informative meetings and supervision
• Professional guidance from coordinator
• No costs, travel costs, and volunteer insurance
