VRF Sales Manager
About the role
VRF Sales Manager position at Lennox involves developing consultative relationships with specifying engineers, manufacturer’s representatives, and contractors to sell VRF products. Key responsibilities include obtaining specifications, providing application and system selection support, conducting product introductions, and communicating code compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Contact engineers, manufacturers’ representatives, and contractors to obtain Lennox VRF basis-of-design specifications.
- Provide high-level application and system selection support.
- Aid consulting engineers and commercial contractors in understanding VRF products and services.
- Conduct product introductions and training sessions.
- Work with Territory Managers and National Account Managers to provide VRF solutions for new and existing customers.
- Offer expertise on application and system design of specialty products.
- Communicate Federal, State, and Local code compliance requirements and ASHRAE design guidelines.
- Identify and address changing customer and market requirements.
- Nurture partnerships with engineering firms, contractors, sales teams, and OEM customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of sales or engineering experience, including substantial industry-specific expertise.
- Strong VRF HVAC sales experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication, presentations, and training.
- Sales-oriented and team-focused mindset.
- Substantial industry and product knowledge.
- Expert abilities in building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
- Broad knowledge of marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Broad knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management Software.

Pay
The starting salary range for this role is between $92,000 - $150,000 annually. The competitive compensation plan includes a target commission of 70% base salary and 30% commission, with a guarantee of at least the target commission for six months. The bonus structure is uncapped and grows as performance exceeds quota.
