VPK Teacher - Incarnation Catholic School

About the role

Incarnation Catholic School is seeking a passionate, experienced, and energetic VPK Teacher to lead one of their early childhood classes for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of our early childhood classes
• Nurture and support each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment
• Ensure children are actively supervised at all times
• Ensure strict compliance with all facility licensing, safety protocols, and VPK program requirements
• Conduct regular child assessments and maintain accurate documentation, including attendance, as required by VPK guidelines
• Establish and maintain effective, open communication with parents and guardians

Requirements

• A strong understanding of the structure and requirements of the State of Florida VPK program
• A curriculum and child development plan that aligns with Florida VPK standards
• A passion for Catholic education and its mission
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Florida VPK Certification
• Experience teaching young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
