VPIC Foundry Technician

Responsibilities

• Developing a safe, stable process for producing vacuum melted investment castings
• Executing the process (shell preparation, oven operation, vacuum melt and pour operations)
• Managing inventory/supplies
• Maintaining equipment condition
• Supporting maintenance activities
• Training others

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract numbers
• General knowledge of computer systems
• Broad knowledge of foundry operations
• Strong inter-personal skills and ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with problem solving
• Collaboration with maintenance functions
• Training others
