PRIMARY PURPOSE

To provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for warehouse, print production, and fulfillment operations. Ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality execution across all workflows while driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and scalable growth. Lead cross-functional teams and develop operational strategies that support productivity, accuracy, regulatory adherence, and service excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct end-to-end operations across shipping/receiving, product processing, destruction, print production, fulfillment, and DEA-regulated activities.

  • Establish and standardize processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all sites.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and industry regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, FDA, NABP, DEA, EPA).

  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and controls aligned to internal standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Review contracts impacting operations, identifying risk exposure and feasibility of execution.

  • Own P&L performance for assigned operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

  • Identify and execute margin improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement business plans that drive growth and profitability.

  • Lead, coach, and develop operations leadership teams to drive performance and engagement.

  • Build organizational capability through effective workforce planning, training, and succession development.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and quality outcomes.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, clients, and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure operational execution aligns with client requirements and service commitments.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supervises administrative staff, including interviewing, hiring, establishing performance development plans, conducting performance reviews, providing support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university highly preferred. Graduate Degree or studies a plus.

  • Experience: Ten (10) years of professional warehousing, logistics, or related operational experience. Five (5) years of experience in a senior leadership role with direct accountability for multi-function operations.

  • Demonstrated experience managing P&L, budgets, and strategic initiatives.

  • Skills: Deep operational and regulatory expertise across complex, multi-site environments; Enterprise-level business acumen with strong strategic and operational judgment; Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills; Advanced financial acumen and analytical capabilities; Strong operational discipline with attention to process detail and organizational rigor; Excellent relationship management, with strong negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills; Proven leadership in team development, organizational effectiveness, and change management; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise business applications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Physical: Computer keyboarding, occasional lifting, walking, travel as required.

  • Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision, and talking.

  • Must maintain valid driver’s license.

  • Participation in compliance programs, including DEA prescribed background screening and credit check required for this position.
