About the role
This role manages the quarterly commercial valuation process for SitusAMC's institutional consulting engagements and bank/lending engagements. You will oversee the valuation management division, assist in appraisal reviews, work closely with team members, manage third-party appraisal processes, liaise with bank and lending clients, and analyze appraisals and cash flows. Vice Presidents collaborate with Senior Directors to complete these processes.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the appraisal review process and provide guidance and quality control to the valuation team
- Supervise workflow to ensure on-time deliveries
- Execute valuation reviews and client consulting engagements using organizational and technical skills
- Communicate and coordinate with market participants, clients, and co-workers
- Review third-party appraisal reports
- Develop reviews, consulting reports, and other deliverables
- Resolve non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication with clients or involved parties
- Work independently on projects and collaborate in-person as a team player
- Serve as an engagement/client lead, handling day-to-day client communication
- Perform other activities as assigned by your manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above—preferred fields include real estate, accounting, finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP-level role or external equivalent
- Certified General Real Property Appraiser License is a plus
- MAI designation is desirable or candidacy for MAI designation
- Strong valuation expertise
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Argus
Pay
The annual full-time base salary range for this role is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Certain positions may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines and management approval.
