VP - Treasury Management
Position Summary
Performs a broad range of financial planning and analysis for Pioneer and its subsidiaries. Responsible for various treasury-related functions, such as liquidity, investment securities, interest rate risk (asset liability management), and regulatory/risk management and reporting. Maintains responsibility for the daily cash position as well as balance sheet modeling and forecasting, and profitability measurement. Prepares detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management and the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities

Credits comprehensive asset-liability and interest rate risk analysis for Pioneer and its subsidiaries, utilizing shock and ramp scenario simulations.

Evaluates key metrics including Net Interest Income (NII) and Economic Value of Equity (EVE) to assess sensitivity to changing rate environments and support strategic decision-making.

Develops and executes quarterly liquidity stress tests and prepares the liquidity risk monitor in alignment with Pioneer’s Contingency Funding Plan.

Performs comprehensive cash flow modeling and stress testing to evaluate liquidity impacts under varying levels of stress, including effects on key financial ratios and performance measures.

Analyzes deposit behaviors and trends to establish model assumptions and assess potential depositor responses across multiple stress scenarios, ensuring robust liquidity risk management.

Maintains responsibility of monitoring target balances with corresponding banks.

Serves on Asset and Liability Management Committee and Model Risk Management Committee.

Manages wholesale funding sources, including recommending CD rates to the Pioneer’s Pricing Committee.

Formulates bids on municipal securities where credit worthiness meets Pioneer criteria.

Utilizes historical patterns in order to be competitive if security fits policy.

Utilizes Pioneer’s Sales Enablement program to provide cross sell opportunities for business services including Cash Management, Deposit, Loan, Investment, and Insurance products.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and/or Mathematics or related field required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of financial analysis experience required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with financial modeling and forecasting software required.
- Empyrean ALM system experience preferred.
- Additional experience with basic programming and data query languages (e.g., SQL) and familiarity with emerging technologies such as large language models (LLMs) is highly desirable.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation preferred.
- Experience engaging with regulators, interpreting regulatory requirements, and implementing changes as regulations evolve.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and Internet Explorer required.
