VP Technology Procurement

About the Role

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a multi-year technology procurement strategy aligned with business goals
• Serve as the subject matter expert on technology markets and sourcing best practices
• Identify opportunities to consolidate vendor portfolios and optimize enterprise spending
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on technology investment decisions
• Influence enterprise technology roadmaps through market intelligence and procurement expertise
• Develop a leading supplier management program for critical technology partners
• Drive supplier performance improvements using structured review processes

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive procurement experience, with a focus on technology sourcing at the enterprise level
• 10+ years of leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
• Expertise in negotiating complex technology agreements, such as enterprise software and cloud services
• Experience collaborating with C-suite executives and shaping enterprise technology strategy
• Strong financial acumen with proven success in delivering measurable savings and value creation
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Knowledge of procurement technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and professional certifications is advantageous

Pay

$225,000 – $275,000 annually
