VP - Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President / Senior Platform Engineer to join our Digital Infrastructure and Software Engineering team. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Responsibilities

• Help build, operate, and improve secure, resilient engineering platforms that support modern software delivery, digital infrastructure, and critical business services.
• Design, build, and support platform engineering capabilities that enable software teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable applications.
• Contribute to Kubernetes-based platform development, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines to improve engineering productivity and operational stability.
• Support cloud-native engineering practices, including observability, code quality, incident response, and performance testing.
• Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues, improve deployment practices, and strengthen platform reliability.
• Help implement secure software delivery practices and controls aligned to enterprise and regulatory expectations, including security and certification-focused measures.
• Develop and support distributed applications, engineering tooling, and automation capabilities across backend and full-stack environments.
• Enable engineering teams through documentation, knowledge-sharing sessions, and technical guidance that improves adoption of best practices.
• Support on-call operations, monitoring, alerting, and incident response for critical systems and platforms.
• Contribute to platform evaluation and tooling decisions to improve developer experience, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work with stakeholders across delivery, operations, and product teams to ensure timely and effective technical execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Additional technical certifications or practical experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering are a plus.
• Experience Strong experience in software engineering and platform engineering within high-performing technical teams.
• Experience building and supporting Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native engineering environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational support.
• Experience with distributed applications, backend engineering, and software development tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across complex technical environments.
• Experience implementing secure deployment practices and supporting certification-aligned controls such as ISO 27001 measures.
• Experience supporting engineering enablement through guides, training, and knowledge-sharing.
• Familiarity with performance testing, code quality practices, and platform evaluation.
• Exposure to distributed financial infrastructure, blockchain-based platforms, or payment-related systems is a plus.
• Experience working across remote or cross-functional teams in delivery-focused engineering environments.

Pay

Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Details will be provided during the interview process.

Schedule

The schedule is flexible and designed to accommodate the needs of the individual and the organization. On-call responsibilities may be required.
