VP, Product Management
$190,000 - $240,000 / year
About the role
The insurance industry runs on Vertafore. We equip agencies, MGAs, and carriers with the core digital systems, specialized AI, and data-driven foundation to eliminate distribution drag across the insurance lifecycle, spanning sales, servicing, and back-office operations. Underpinned by unmatched speed and performance power, we are the trusted backbone that’s taking the insurance industry from friction to flow with Distribution Velocity—speed, performance, and trust—to drive growth at scale. With over 95% of the top agencies and insurers and 50% of industry compliance transactions running through Vertafore, we lead at the intersection of innovation and trust, giving insurance professionals the confidence to transform and win in the AI era.
Vertafore’s MGA and Wholesale business is the fastest-growing part of our portfolio. We are looking for a hands-on product leader with strong insurance, MGA, or enterprise software experience to lead product management across our MGA solutions and drive the rollout of AI agents across our teams. This is a broad, build-it role that shapes the products and the way we work in one of Vertafore’s highest-growth markets.
As Vice President, you will own product strategy and execution across the MGA portfolio, including AIM, Surefyre, MGA Systems, and NetRate, while championing the adoption of AI agents across product, services, support, and development. You will operate both strategically and tactically, defining the problems your products solve, maintaining a well-prepared roadmap and backlog, and partnering with engineering to deliver. The role also reaches beyond traditional product management to include training, sales enablement, and ownership of the headcount that supports business operations for the unit. Your objectives are tied directly to business metrics such as retention, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
