VP, Procure-to-Pay

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a VP, Procure-to-Pay to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This executive will shape the global procure-to-pay function with a focus on cost discipline, scalable operations, and strong vendor governance. The role will partner closely with senior leadership to align sourcing, contract strategy, and operating priorities across the business. This is a high-impact opportunity to modernize procurement processes and drive measurable value through process, systems, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement the global procure-to-pay strategy.
• Lead cost savings initiatives and value creation across the organization.
• Direct negotiation strategies for high-value vendor contracts.
• Ensure procurement systems are scalable and comply with industry standards.
• Partner with C-suite and senior leaders to align corporate priorities.
• Establish procurement policies and risk mitigation frameworks.
• Optimize vendor onboarding processes and vendor lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of executive experience in global procurement and P2P operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise vendor negotiations and achieve significant savings.
• In-depth knowledge of software, SaaS, and IT infrastructure procurement.
• Experience modernizing procurement technology and operating models.
• Strong relationship-building skills with C-suite and executive leaders.
• Track record of developing high-performing teams in procurement environments.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills for strategic decision-making.
