VP, Pharmacy Operations

About the role

The VP, Pharmacy Operations will lead the pharmacy operations team in managing all aspects of the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, medication dispensing, and customer service.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure the accuracy and security of prescription records and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving business results.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Illinois.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles.

Pay

$180,000 - $200,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
