Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Own full P&L responsibility across multiple U.S. service centers, aligning sales, operations, engineering, and customer service functions to deliver consistent top-line growth and margin expansion.
  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic growth plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP) that increase revenue and EBITDA performance year-over-year, positioning the business for scalable expansion and long-term valuation.
  • Monitor and manage financial dashboards tracking growth metrics, backlog conversion, and cash flow, ensuring proactive course correction and consistent achievement of financial targets.
  • Lead integration of new acquisitions in parallel with organic growth initiatives, ensuring seamless operational and cultural alignment.
  • Champion Lean principles and continuous improvement (CIPS) practices to standardize operations, improve cost structure, and unlock efficiencies that reduce SG&A while increasing organizational effectiveness.
  • Optimize resource allocation across the service center network to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices that enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage cross-functional technical resources to ensure delivery of quality products and services consistent with Protection & Controls Group standards.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of 200+ employees nationwide, serving as a servant leader who models the values and behaviors expected at every level of the organization.
  • Implement succession planning and leadership pipeline programs that strengthen organizational bench depth and mitigate key-person risk.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent with a focus on building engagement, driving accountability, and creating clear pathways for career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven culture with well-defined objectives and shared ownership of results.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization — from executive leadership and field personnel to customers and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a multi-site industrial services, electrical, or power/controls environment, with demonstrated P&L ownership.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, EBITDA improvement, and operational transformation at scale.
  • Deep expertise in Protection & Controls, power distribution, or related technical disciplines strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading large, geographically distributed teams (150+ employees) with demonstrated success in talent development and succession planning.
  • Proficiency in Lean, continuous improvement methodologies, and operating system deployment (e.g., CIPS or equivalent).
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and relationship-building skills.
