Responsibilities
- Help direct the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices
- Manage relationships with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community
- Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities
- Directs the Controller in providing and directing procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services
- Appraise the organization’s financial position
- Provide and direct procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services
- Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations
Qualifications
- Proven track record in finance leadership roles
- Experience managing treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with various stakeholders
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
