VP of Construction Management, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $200,000/year USD

Many operators know how to launch a school. Very few can do so consistently, on schedule, and with accelerating velocity. 2 Hour Learning is establishing a nationwide network of schools engineered to condense a traditional full-day curriculum into two intensive hours powered by AI. This model depends on expansion processes that are as rigorous and precise as the educational product. Your role is to ensure that outcome. You will manage the complete development cycle for new school sites—from initial acquisition through fully functional campus—and simultaneously build the infrastructure that makes every future opening faster, more streamlined, and more reliable.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct critical site evaluations by confirming zoning compliance, permitting pathways, cost parameters, and schedule feasibility through structured and AI-supported analysis
• Manage multiple concurrent school construction projects, directing construction managers, clearing obstacles, and delivering on-schedule, on-budget campus openings
• Produce clear, actionable capital project proposals that synchronize stakeholder alignment on scope, budget, and execution approach
• Direct vendor sourcing, RFP processes, and contract negotiations with emphasis on velocity, quality standards, and cost discipline
• Break down expansion processes into discrete work components and engineer AI-powered systems that reduce cycle times and strengthen predictability

Basic Requirements

• Documented experience leading at least one real estate development or construction initiative from site identification through operational launch with comprehensive ownership
• Track record managing multiple simultaneous construction projects or capital initiatives with direct accountability for schedules, coordination, and problem resolution
• Deep working knowledge of zoning regulations, permitting processes, construction execution, and vendor management, with capability to interface directly with general contractors, architects, and regulatory authorities
• Proven capacity to evaluate tradeoffs involving cost, timeline, and feasibility with quantifiable, transparent outcomes
• Confirmed ability to refine or design complex operational processes (such as permitting, design coordination, construction delivery) and optimize them iteratively
• Demonstrated use of tools (AI-based or otherwise) to minimize manual effort, expedite decision processes, or enhance execution velocity
• Strong ownership orientation with comfort operating in uncertain environments and producing tangible results
• Prepared and able to travel up to 60% to active construction sites nationwide and maintain on-site presence during pivotal development and opening phases
• Based in the United States and authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
