Evaluation and Management

Evaluate and approve high-stakes site opportunities by assessing zoning compliance, permitting pathways, cost structures, and timeline viability through systematic and AI-supported analysis
Manage multiple concurrent school construction projects, directing construction managers, clearing obstacles, and delivering on-schedule, on-budget completions

Proposal Development

Create comprehensive, actionable capital project proposals that bring stakeholders into alignment on scope, budget, and implementation approach

Vendor Management

Oversee vendor qualification, RFP processes, and contract negotiations with emphasis on execution speed, deliverable quality, and financial discipline

Process Optimization

Break down expansion processes into discrete operational components and implement AI-enhanced systems that reduce cycle times and increase outcome reliability

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience directing at least one complete real estate development or construction initiative from site evaluation through operational launch with comprehensive ownership
• Track record managing multiple simultaneous construction or capital projects with direct accountability for schedule adherence, coordination, and problem resolution
• Deep working knowledge of zoning regulations, permitting procedures, construction processes, and vendor management, with capability to interact directly with general contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies
• Proven capacity to make informed tradeoff decisions balancing cost, schedule, and feasibility with documented, quantifiable results
• Proven ability to refine or design complex operational processes (e.g., permitting workflows, design coordination, construction delivery)
• Proven ability to decompose intricate workflows into systematic, repeatable frameworks and enhance them iteratively
• Track record leveraging technology (AI or other tools) to minimize manual tasks, expedite decisions, or enhance execution velocity
• Strong ownership orientation with ability to function effectively in ambiguous environments and produce tangible outcomes
• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 60% to operational school sites nationwide and maintain on-site presence during pivotal development and launch phases
• Currently based in the United States and authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship
