VP of Accounting

About the role

The VP of Accounting will oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting and close processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team and ensure accurate reporting across a real estate portfolio
• Lead property-level accounting, consolidations, and reporting as a key VP of Accounting
• Partner with executive leadership to support planning and business strategy
• Improve internal controls, systems, and financial reporting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of accounting experience with real estate focus
• Strong understanding of property accounting and reporting
• Experience managing teams and leading accounting operations
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Ability to drive process improvements and system enhancements
