Primary Focus of Role
Serve as a therapeutic category expert
Stay up to date on groundbreaking scientific developments and their medical implications
Translate complex scientific concepts and data while providing a strategic point of view
Partner with Account and Creative brand leadership to drive brand strategy
Work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure pull-through of strategy in all communications and/or tactics
Act as a liaison between the agency and key consultants/opinion leaders/medical clients
Collaborate with Account Services to manage client relationships
Participate in new business pitches while also identifying business growth opportunities for existing brands
Qualifications And Experience
- Candidates must have an advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD)
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in the health care communications space. This experience is required.
- Specific expertise and experience in oncology is required
- Must be able to present yourself, the agency, and your recommendations in an articulate, dynamic, and professional manner
- Requires a strong desire to drive strategic development, and immerse him/herself in a variety of new assignments
Benefits
$138,125 - $220,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
