About the role

Provides technical expertise to aid in executing strategies within a specific function, developing detailed plans and recommendations to advance business/network/agency objectives. Works on complex projects that influence key operational goals and strategic priorities. Operates as a subject-matter expert to provide guidance and support to junior professionals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, leads, conducts and supports discovery and validation of research in biology, bio-tech, physiology, pharmacology, neurosciences, microbiology, agriculture, food, genomics, bioinformatics, bacteriology or stem cell research
• Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results, including technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses
• Publishes activities, findings and conclusions in recognized scientific publications, and presents same at appropriate scientific conferences and forums
• Documents research leading to patent disclosure or technical and/or scientific advancement

Schedule

To the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
