VP, Live Events Commerce

About the Role

ONELIVE has established itself as a leader in Unified Fan Commerce. As we continue expanding our Live Event Commerce business, we're seeking an experienced executive to lead this strategic business through its next phase of growth. This is not a traditional Vice President role. You'll lead one of ONELIVE's most strategic growth businesses with responsibility spanning product strategy, go-to-market execution, strategic partnerships, customer success, and commercial growth. This is an opportunity to build a business, shape a market, and help define the future of Live Event Commerce.

What Makes This Role Unique

While this role is responsible for building ONELIVE's broader Live Event Commerce business, success begins with a deep understanding of live event POS. The ideal candidate understands the unique operational demands of concerts, festivals, touring merchandise, and venue retail—including inventory movement, settlement, connectivity, payment processing, staffing, hardware, and event-day execution. They also recognize that modern POS is no longer just about processing transactions—it's becoming the foundation for the future of Live Event Commerce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of Live Event Commerce at ONELIVE, building one of the company's most strategic growth businesses.
• Define how the next generation of Live Event Commerce is brought to market.
• Shape the product vision by bringing real-world industry insight into our product roadmap.
• Build trusted relationships with the leaders shaping touring, venues, festivals, and live entertainment.
• Represent ONELIVE as a thought leader with customers, strategic partners, and across the industry.
• Help the industry's most recognized artists, venues, festivals, and sports organizations transform how they connect commerce and fan relationships.
• Build and lead the Live Event Commerce organization as the business scales.

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is designed for experienced leaders who have built or operated commerce solutions within the live entertainment industry. The ideal candidate has direct experience with live event POS, tour merchandising, venue commerce, festivals, or related event technology, along with an established network of relationships across the live entertainment ecosystem. If your background is primarily in traditional retail, ecommerce, or general software without meaningful experience in live event commerce, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in live entertainment, event technology, merchandising, commerce, or related industries.
• Deep understanding of live event POS and touring merchandise operations.
• An established network across the live entertainment ecosystem.
• Experience with POS, commerce platforms, payments, or related technologies.
• Executive presence, exceptional relationship-building skills, and an entrepreneurial mind.
• A passion for improving how commerce works at live events.
• Experience with Shopify Plus, enterprise SaaS, payment technologies, or commerce platforms is a plus.
