VP, IT Infrastructure

About the role

The VP, IT Infrastructure at Compass Datacenter is responsible for overseeing all IT functions to ensure the company's technology meets its goals and objectives efficiently and reliably. This role works closely with different business units in Canada and the US to assess user needs and manage continuous system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define, update, and implement IT objectives and programs to align with Compass' objectives and strategies
• Cook up and manage IT across the enterprise
• Strategize - identify important technical trends and find ways to avoid risks
• Acquire software/hardware necessary to meet Compass' internal and external objectives
• Manage, mitigate, and minimize IT and network risks
• Implement systems and organizational controls according to SOC, ISO, PCI standards
• Create new products/hardware and software tools that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience

Requirements

• Possesses strong leadership, supervisory, mentoring, and coaching skills
• Able to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning
• Accustomed to working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, adaptable to new ideas and embrace changes
