VP/GM, New York Market
Brightline is redefining pediatric behavioral health care in New York. This role requires a leader who can execute the vision in clinics, with a clear path to expanding to six clinics.
About the role
You'll be responsible for the clinical and financial performance of the New York market, driving a positive culture, and building the operational foundation for expansion. You'll work closely with the regional clinical leader and partners like NYU to grow the market.
Responsibilities
Own the P&L for the New York market, including budget management, staff forecasting, and variance management.
Represent the New York market to Brightline's executive leadership and manage issues at the appropriate level.
Execute market-level strategy aligned with corporate priorities and translate that into operational plans.
Lead the market team, manage direct reports, and oversee hiring and workforce planning.
Manage provider schedules and development, develop retention strategies, and foster a positive culture.
Manage patient experience, access, and quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Optimize operations, launch new initiatives, and lead change management.
Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
Requirements
10+ years of professional experience, including 5 years in general management or senior operational leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience leading both operational and clinical functions in a multi-site healthcare delivery environment.
Strong communicator with a proven ability to build relationships quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
P&L ownership mindset, comfortable with budget management, clinic-level financial forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience with quality standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management in a healthcare setting.
Proven change management skills, comfortable leading teams through organizational change and new workflows.
Fluency with EHR/EMR systems and operational technology used in clinical environments.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure in a still-maturing organization.
Willingness to spend 50% of time in clinics, including travel to locations outside the New York City metro area.
Qualifications
MBA preferred but not required.
