About the role
The Vice President, Enterprise Procurement is responsible for leading and executing a unified procurement strategy across all business units at Premier. This role ensures alignment of sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations with enterprise priorities, driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creation. This role operates as an enterprise integrator, partnering across all business segments to standardize procurement practices and maximize Premier’s scale and supplier relationships. This role will be responsible for driving measurable value creation (cost savings, efficiency, risk mitigation).
Responsibilities
Enterprise Procurement Strategy & Alignment – 30%
Lead enterprise procurement strategy across all business units
Align sourcing priorities with business and financial goals
Drive enterprise spend visibility and optimizationStrategic Sourcing & Supplier Management – 25%
Lead enterprise sourcing and contracting processes
Manage supplier relationships and performance
Execute high-value negotiationsGovernance, Risk & Compliance – 20%
Establish procurement policies and controls
Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance
Lead supplier risk managementOperations & Digital Enablement – 15%
Implement procurement tools and systems
Drive process standardization and efficiency

Requirements
Work Experience: Years of Applicable Experience - 12 or more years
Education: Bachelors (Required)
