VP, Credit Trader

Responsibilities

• Trade high yield bonds, leveraged loans, on both par and distressed documents, credit derivatives, common and reorganized equity.
• Implementation and best execution of all mandates.
• Maintain strong counterparty relationships with daily interaction across sales, trading and syndicate.
• Source and develop investment ideas through fundamental and relative value.
• Build and maintain screening tools to identify opportunities, monitor markets, and support investment decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with investment, research, legal, operations, and technology professionals across the firm to drive successful implementation of investment strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience including expertise trading high yield bonds, leveraged loans, stressed credit, and related derivatives and equity.
• Long and shortBuy side experience preferred.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Solution-oriented, intellectually curious, hard-working.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective presentation skills to share analysis with senior investment professionals.

Pay

• Current anticipated annual base salary range: $200,000 - $250,000
