VP/Chief Lending Officer

About the role

This role is a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for overseeing all lending operations, including consumer and mortgage lending as well as our Collections Department. The CLO ensures the Credit Union’s lending programs align with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and risk management standards while delivering outstanding member experiences and strengthening our presence in the community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all lending operations, including consumer and mortgage lending as well as Collections Department.
• Ensure the Credit Union’s lending programs align with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and risk management standards.
• Deliver outstanding member experiences and strengthen the Credit Union’s presence in the community.
• Manage collections operations and implement recovery strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in lending, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending practices and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
