About the role

We're undergoing a massive transformation, fueled by a bold three-year strategy to aggressively grow our lending business. Our mission is to become a digital-first, AI-enabled lending powerhouse - and, with our sister business, Achieve Debt Relief - to solidify our position as the leading platform in Consumer Liability Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and guide Achieve's funding stack as a highly diversified asset portfolio.
• Strategically architect and oversee Forward Flow Agreements, Warehouse Lines, and Asset-Backed Securitization (ABS) Program.
• Partner with Finance and Treasury teams to prudently manage overall corporate liquidity through capital markets activities.
• Transform legacy funding processes to a dynamic, automated Capital Allocation Engine.
• Model credit and stress scenarios using advanced AI capabilities.
• Lead the strategic formulation and capital design of Achieve’s expanding product suite.
• Serve as the structural anchor for all new product initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ Years of Senior Experience: Deep tenure within consumer structured finance, investment banking, asset management, or fintech capital markets platforms, including 3-5+ years leading the Capital Markets function.
• Proven Track Record: Tangible history of managing programmatic ABS platforms, negotiating committed forward-flow and warehouse facilities, and managing through complex liquidity environments.
• Distinguished Expert: Equal parts Wall Street transaction experience and modern data-driven strategist. Deep familiarity with structural waterfalls, stress simulations, and advanced modeling.
• Owner Mindset: Proven ability to manage outcomes, treat investor demand as a managed portfolio, and tie capital markets outcomes directly to long-term enterprise value creation.
• Transparent Communicator: Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a leadership philosophy rooted in proactive transparency to create trust internally and with external partners.
• People & Culture Leader: Experience building high-performing, cross-functional teams across Investor Relations, Structuring, Investor Reporting & Data, Loan Products & Capital Strategy, and Risk & Portfolio Surveillance while fostering a results-oriented culture focused on rapid execution and strategic impact.

Pay

Salary Range: $340,000 - $370,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Schedule

We are proudly offering hybrid options in the San Mateo, CA and Phoenix, AZ metro market. In other locations throughout the country, we offer work from home.
