VP, Business Analysis Specialist – Global Fixed Income
Job Description
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of business analysis experience in Capital Markets
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income products
- Understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle, valuation, and risk
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with experience supporting senior stakeholders
- Experience with front-to-back trade lifecycle and delivery frameworks (Agile/Hybrid)
- Experience with Agile / hybrid delivery models preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis for initiatives including new product enablement, model enhancements, and regulatory programs
- Translate business needs into clear requirements and functional specifications
- Partner with trading desks, risk, finance, and technology teams to drive alignment
- Support impact assessments, planning-phase analysis, and estimation activities
- Produce high-quality artifacts (BRDs, process flows, executive summaries)
- Support UAT, governance, and delivery execution
Requirements
- 7+ years of prior experience in organizational change management activities
- In-depth understanding and subject matter expertise in self clearing, with experience in Futures preferred
- Prior experience with delivering technology for clearing (self or client) is considered an asset
- Superior understanding of the end-to-back clearing workflow, with in-depth knowledge of the operational aspects
- Superior organizational skills (must be able to identify and track project dependencies & blockers, ensure proper resolution of outstanding items, document meeting minutes and takeaways in a clear and concise manner)
- Advanced Excel data manipulation skills (ability to derive findings/conclusions from large datasets and trouble-shoot errors)
- Able to work on multiple concurrent tasks and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated ability to make sound recommendations for business decisions
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
