Voting System/Hardware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured tests, document results, identify discrepancies, and help assess compliance with applicable regulatory and certification requirements.
• Schedule tests, coordinate with subcontractor laboratories, manage hardware analysis and functional testing, and develop hardware testing methodologies.
• Support re-testing efforts following issue resolution.
• Oversee hardware test tools, including maintenance and calibration.
• Oversee on-site and off-site laboratory testing to ensure hardware testing is completed successfully.
• Support technical discussions, analyze engineering change orders, and answer technical questions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records throughout the testing lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply regulatory and technical requirements.
• Interact professionally with both internal and external clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
