Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of 20-50 paid canvassers.
  • Canvass multiple days a week to lead by example and train staff.
  • Set and meet voter registration goals.
  • Provide ongoing training, support, and motivation.
  • Identify, promote, and develop leadership within the team.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Implement quality control measures.
  • Maintain a safe and positive working environment.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Handle administrative tasks including data reporting, payroll, and inventory management.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading and motivating large teams.
  • Eagerness to lead from the front by canvassing.
  • Attention to detail and enforcement of high standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-starter mentality.
  • Passion for community organizing and voter empowerment.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice.
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing paid canvasses or teams.
  • Experience with diverse communities and marginalized populations.
  • Strong facilitation and training experience.
  • Local ties to the area.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $1,146 - $1,412 per week, based on experience.
