About the Role

Al-Ameen is a humanitarian NGO that responds to humanitarian disasters worldwide. This position involves providing medical care in conflict and low-humanitarian-situation zones, supporting healthcare staff, and deploying specialized medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medical care to patients in need
• Perform code resuscitations as required
• Collaborate with local staff and support healthcare staff personnel
• Ensure proper documentation of medications and medical supplies
• Support the development of mass casualty management systems
• Provide technical training programs
• Evaluate activities and monitor progress
• Collect and report clinical data

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with MD or other specializations
• Board Certification in designated specialty
• Active, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine
• Ability to work in a diverse team
• Fluent in English
• Desirable: National language speaker
• Proven experience in the requested specialty
• Experience in humanitarian aid delivery
• Experience in low-resource and conflict settings
• Familiarity with cultural and religious context

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or other determined specializations
• Current, active, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine
• Ability to work in a diverse team
• Fluent in English
