About the role
Residential Healthcare Group provides home health, palliative, and hospice care with a mission to positively impact patients and their families, inspiring hope and confidence through exceptional, individualized care delivered wherever patients are. As a Residential Hospice volunteer, you will offer caring companionship and presence to hospice patients and their loved ones. Regular visits bring joy and comfort to patients, provide respite and relief for caregivers, and create a mutually rewarding experience for both volunteer and patient.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Cannot accept court-ordered community service
Application process
Upon receiving your completed application, the following steps are required before visits can be scheduled:
- Interview
- Background check
- Drug screening
- Fingerprint screening
- TB test
Support & safety
- Volunteer orientation provided
- Supportive staff to welcome you to the team
- Adherence to all necessary protocols for protection and peace of mind
