Volunteer Position Description

The Volunteers assist with session setup, participant engagement, and general program support while helping create an inclusive, welcoming environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community service, music, and making meaningful connections with diverse populations.

A musical background is welcomed but not required.

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

• Arriving at least 10 minutes before the start of the session to set up.
• Help engage Participants in the session.
• Aid the Session Leader as needed.
• Must be present at every session.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Skills Needed

• Ability to communicate ideas and interact with others via social media (currently using Whatsapp and GoogleDrive).
• Strong public speaking and teaching skills.
• Basic musical knowledge (ability to play an instrument is a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creativity and flexibility (adaptable to unexpected situations).
• Patience & desire to help others.
