Volunteer Stocker/Receiver

About the role

The George Street Co-op is a non-profit natural foods store owned and run by its members. We sell vegetarian foods with the greatest nutritional value possible, and only minimal processing or additives. Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op and choose from our excellent selection of fresh organic produce, bulk foods, vitamins & herbs, body care and earth-friendly products, gifts, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their purchases
• Stock shelves and restock products
• Handle incoming deliveries and organize goods
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the store

Requirements

• Willingness to volunteer two to six hours per week
• Ability to follow store policies and procedures
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate store hours
