About the role
The Volunteer Soccer Assistant Coach will support Independence Middle School's soccer program under the guidance of the Principal or Student Activities Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Assist in training and mentoring student athletes
- Support team practices and games
- Work with the head coach to develop and implement coaching strategies
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements
- Experience coaching youth soccer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with students, staff, and community members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
Skills
- Knowledge of soccer rules and regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills
