About the role
Serves civil papers and criminal warrants as directed. Patrols precinct to deter crime. Assists public within scope of authority. Secures and preserves crime scenes. May work with traffic enforcement/traffic investigation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic TCOLE certification
- Two (2) years of full-time or 2 years reserve deputy/officer job-related work experience
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Firearms proficiency
