About the Role

Assistant to Head Coach in all aspects of an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Division III sports program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in day-to-day operations of the team and program
• Assist in practice planning
• Provide positional instruction as defined by the head coach
• Evaluate post-practice and game situations
• Assist in recruiting
• Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Coaching experience of at least 3 years required
• Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate playing or previous collegiate/high school coaching experience of at least five years
• Strong work ethic and desire to work in a Division III environment
• Master’s degree preferred
