VOLUNTEER: PARK RANGER

The City of San Marcos' Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers for the Reserve Ranger program. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, enjoy outdoor activities, and wish to protect their community's habitat while volunteering.

Qualifications

• Complete and submit an online application.
• Qualified applicants will be invited to an interview process.
• Selected volunteers will undergo a background check, pre-volunteer physical, and a safe driving awareness course.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age at the time of volunteer assignment.
• Valid Class C driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Available for consistent, ongoing volunteer commitments.
• Enjoy working with the public, being outdoors, and sharing a passion for nature and recreation with the community.
